About the position

VTG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to ensure the security of the organization's information systems and networks. The role involves analyzing data from various cyber defense tools, interpreting security events, and developing cybersecurity policies and procedures to mitigate threats and enhance security measures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze events using data from cyber defense tools to mitigate threats.
• Interpret, analyze, and report all events and anomalies according to network directives.
• Evaluate, test, recommend, and maintain cybersecurity policies and systems.
• Ensure alignment of cybersecurity plans and procedures with standards.
• Identify security risks, determine causes of violations, and suggest improvements.
• Develop techniques for conducting risk assessments and compliance audits.
• Provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced cybersecurity personnel.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Poly
• BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
• 5 - 11 years related experience (Full Performance 5+ years, Senior 8+ years, Expert 11+ years)
