About the position

As a Cyber Security Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing battle against cyber threats, specifically focusing on bad bots and web vulnerabilities. This position is part of our Customer Operations team, where you will collaborate closely with customers to analyze their traffic and help clean up the internet from malicious activities. Your work will involve real-time analysis and support, ensuring that our clients are protected from undetected threats and false detections. You will utilize tools such as ElasticSearch and BigQuery (SQL) to conduct your analyses, providing insightful incident reports and technical responses to customer inquiries. In this role, you will be expected to communicate effectively with global customers, offering quick responses and resolutions to their security concerns. You will also work cross-functionally with our Research and Development teams to enhance our capabilities in detecting and mitigating cyber attacks in real-time. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to design, plan, and implement projects and automation processes for internal use, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. This position requires flexibility, as you will be holding shifts that include weekend work on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customers' traffic to identify undetected threats and false detections using ElasticSearch and BigQuery (SQL).
• Support customers (Tier 2) in real-time and provide professional technical responses.
• Work side by side with customers providing insightful incident reports.
• Communicate with global customers and provide quick responses and resolutions.
• Work cross-functionally with RnD and Research teams to optimize Human Security's ability to detect and mitigate real-time Cyber Attacks.
• Design, plan and implement projects and automation for internal use.
• Hold shifts as part of the job (including weekend shifts).

Requirements

• Perfect English, excellent customer-facing, and communication skills (a must!).
• Analytical mindset and data driven decision making.
• Hands-on experience (1+ year) with data analysis of large and complex data sets (data manipulation, statistical analysis, conclusions, etc.).
• Knowledge of web architecture and protocols (CDN, HTML, DOM, JS, HTTP, HTTPS, IPv4/v6, etc.).
• Understanding of the cybersecurity threat landscape.
• SQL Proficiency.
• B.A/B.S in related domains.
