About the position

The Cyber Security Analyst at Canvas Inc. will play a crucial role in supporting the Department of Defense's navigation warfare mission. This position involves providing subject matter expertise on planning and conducting navigation warfare, ensuring compliance with policies, and facilitating information sharing among various defense agencies. The analyst will work within a team to integrate cyber operations into strategic objectives, contributing to the overall mission of the Joint Navigation Warfare Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on navigation warfare planning and execution.
• Support the integration of C4, cyber, and cyberspace operations into strategic objectives.
• Coordinate with various defense agencies including DISA, CYBERCOM, and ARCYBER.
• Facilitate information sharing internally and externally.
• Review policies and ensure compliance and implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Five years of relevant Cyber Security experience.
• Current TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner or equivalent.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience with DISA, CYBERCOM, JFHQ-Cyber, ARCYBER, or other CYBERCOM components.
• Ability to work independently with limited government oversight.
• Experience functioning effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
