About the position

The Cyber Security Analyst position at Canvas involves supporting the Department of Defense's navigation warfare mission by providing expertise in planning and conducting navigation warfare operations. The role requires collaboration with various military and government agencies to ensure compliance with policies and facilitate information sharing related to cyber operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on navigation warfare to combatant commanders and joint force commanders.
• Support the integration of C4, cyber, and cyberspace operations into strategic and operational objectives.
• Coordinate with various military and government agencies, including DISA and U.S. Cyber Command.
• Facilitate information sharing internally and externally within cyber operations.
• Review policies and ensure compliance and implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications such as CompTIA's Network+, CompTIA's Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst, or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner.
• Five years of relevant Cyber Security experience.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience with DISA, U.S. Cyber Command, or other CYBERCOM components.
• Ability to work independently with limited government oversight.
• Experience functioning effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
