About the position

United Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support nuclear power facilities. The role involves working within a team to perform cyber security assessments and support modification packages that include digital components. The successful candidate will contribute to the safety and security of nuclear power operations through their expertise in cyber security.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cyber security assessments to support modification packages containing digital components.
  • Prepare documents and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers on various nuclear station projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3 to 12 years of commercial nuclear plant cyber security experience and familiarity with NEI guidance.
  • Experience performing cyber security assessments in support of plant modifications.
  • Ability to prepare documents and presentations using Microsoft Office tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience with cyber security defensive architecture in commercial nuclear plants.
  • Knowledge of computer networks, network switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Working knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server and QNX.
  • Knowledge of real-time data acquisition systems, including hardware, software, and interfaces.
  • Ability to read plant drawings such as control wiring diagrams and network architecture diagrams.
