About the position

The Cyber Security Analyst position at the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) involves providing administrative and technical security support for critical applications and systems. Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and technical security support for DOJ applications and systems.
  • Assess and respond to security threats and incidents.
  • Engage with technicians to design and implement IT systems, both on-premises and cloud-based.
  • Conduct security reviews for hardware and software requests.
  • Support multi-factor authentication and web filtering technologies.
  • Participate in incident response and cloud security activities.

Requirements

  • Education, training, or experience with antivirus products.
  • Experience with vulnerability management systems.
  • Familiarity with audit and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI, CJIS, HIPAA).
  • Experience working with embedded systems, such as laboratory instrumentation PCs.
  • Ability to perform security reviews for requested hardware and software.
  • Experience responding to cybersecurity incidents.
