About the position

The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats and incidents within our organization's network and systems. Utilizing your expertise in cybersecurity best practices and tools, you will conduct thorough investigations into security breaches, anomalies, and suspicious activities. Your duties will include identifying vulnerabilities, recommending security enhancements, and implementing defensive measures to safeguard our critical assets. You will collaborate closely with other security professionals and stakeholders to develop and implement proactive strategies to mitigate cyber risks. In this role, you will monitor risks and implement timely cybersecurity solutions to prevent complications. You will perform artifact collection in real time to coincide with spiral development and develop and submit the associated accreditation package. Additionally, you will develop the Security Concept of Operations (CONOPS) including the Security Plan and complete accreditation package artifacts in Xacta to obtain any Authority to Operate (ATO), Authority to Connect (ATC), and Certificate to Field (CTF) for mission systems. You will also be responsible for performing system scans to identify system vulnerabilities, drafting, editing, maintaining, and providing input to local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Furthermore, you will provide test and evaluation support for new technology, preparing reports detailing the results of the test and evaluation including specific recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor risks and implement timely cybersecurity solutions to prevent complications.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree plus three years experience, or seven years experience in lieu of degree.
  • IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) certification required.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously; coordinating resources and ensuring scheduled goals are met.
