About the position

Vega Consulting Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. This fully remote position focuses on managing identity and access management projects, ensuring compliance with audit requirements, and improving security frameworks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in information security, particularly in IAM, RBAC, and compliance-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in managing Identity Management platform.
• Assess existing Access Reviews and identify gaps.
• Prepare a roadmap to remediate gaps and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Prepare reports and artifacts for internal and external audits.
• Identify access discrepancies and remediate issues.
• Manage Certificate Management.
• Validate compliance and auditing technologies, as well as custom-built security frameworks.
• Capture actual results and supporting evidence, including recommendations for remediation.
• Utilize understanding of corporate initiatives to ensure compliance with organizational goals and timelines.
• Support audit and compliance requirements related to identity and access management.
• Audit access control validations and work closely with risk and compliance teams.
• Experience with metrics and data analysis and creating visualization reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the IGA Framework.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements and streamline workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or Management or equivalent work experience required.
• 8+ years of IT and business experience in strategic process, development, implementation, and updates across multiple software platforms.
• Considerable experience defining, validating, testing, and delivering Business and IT centric architectures using leading-edge technology and legacy systems.
• Thorough knowledge of the company's business practices, principles, and processes.
• Solid teamwork and people skills, with the ability to communicate and persuade at all levels.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional process engineering skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Suite tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
