About The Position
The global security team is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support the design, implementation, security, and ongoing maintenance of our cyber threat detection program. This role involves collaboration with various internal and external teams as part of our Threat Management and Response strategy. The Cyber Security Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing the organization's security posture by researching and staying updated on threat actors, performing detailed threat analysis, and developing detection logic for new threats. In this position, the analyst will validate detection and response capabilities through Breach and Attack Simulation exercises, ensuring that the organization is prepared to respond to potential threats effectively. The role also includes enhancing detection and response capabilities in collaboration with global security functions, which requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for creating and delivering detailed technical reports and lessons learned, which are essential for continuous improvement in security practices. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about cybersecurity, system monitoring, analysis, and incident response. They should possess excellent judgment, prioritization skills, and the ability to communicate technical security risks effectively. Acting as a security liaison supporting various business units, the analyst will need to be proficient in using big data platforms and security tools such as Apache Flink, Kafka, Hadoop, and Splunk.
