About the position

The Cyber Security Analyst at Cornerstone Defense plays a critical role in supporting U.S. operations through intelligence and cyber technologies. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and involves working on various aspects of cybersecurity, including analysis, network security, and technical operations. The analyst will be responsible for conducting thorough research, analysis, and reporting on cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, contributing to the overall mission of safeguarding U.S. interests.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and provide insights on cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Engage in network engineering and security operations.
• Perform penetration testing and red teaming activities.
• Utilize software reverse engineering and computer exploitation techniques.
• Research and analyze data from various sources to present findings.
• Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports and briefs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Forensics.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Cybersecurity or related fields.
• Proficiency in at least three areas such as network security, technical collection, and penetration testing.
• Working knowledge of software development and proficiency in scripting or programming languages.
• Ability to present findings in clear and concise written reports.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills for communication and documentation.

Nice-to-haves

• MS degree in Cybersecurity or related fields.
• Experience within the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Relevant certifications such as CCFP, GCIA, CCSP, CEH, CISSP, GCFA, GCIA.
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
