About the position

The Cyber Security Analyst at Agile Defense plays a crucial role in ensuring cybersecurity policy compliance and maintaining the security posture of the PEO Aviation's enterprise network. This mid-level position involves configuring and administering security tools, conducting compliance reviews, and analyzing security requirements to protect sensitive information. The successful candidate will work closely with the Cyber Team to implement security measures and respond to potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer McAfee endpoint security policy and components for antivirus, intrusion prevention, and data loss prevention.
• Use tools such as Splunk and Elastic to audit for policy compliance and threats.
• Utilize ACAS and Nessus scanners to locate and remediate vulnerable software.
• Patch and configure endpoints using SCCM to maintain a secured baseline.
• Ensure domain level Group Policy configurations are compliant with security posture.
• Conduct compliance reviews of applicable STIGs and perform risk assessments.
• Analyze security requirements for information protection for enterprise applications.
• Assist in the development of application security policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience or an Associate's degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop operating systems.
• Proficiency in using HBSS, ESS, Splunk, Elastic, ACAS, NESSUS, SCCM, PowerShell, and WSUS.
• IAT II Certification is required.
• Ability to interpret and apply DOD and Army level cyber instructions and regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with the application of DISA STIGs.
