About the position

The Cybersecurity Business Analyst, Vice President role at State Street involves researching, identifying, and addressing critical gaps in cybersecurity activities and controls within the Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) team. This position requires collaboration with various experts to solve complex cybersecurity problems and improve business processes, ensuring alignment with the NIST cybersecurity framework and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply NIST cybersecurity framework best practices.
  • Identify solutions to cybersecurity business problems based on business needs.
  • Utilize project management tools and documentation effectively.
  • Produce business requirements, process documentation, and strategic recommendations.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand and translate their needs.
  • Conduct qualitative analysis to propose improvements in processes and strategies.

Requirements

  • At least seven years of relevant Cybersecurity and Technology Risk Management experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with the NIST cybersecurity framework.
  • Six Sigma Lean Certified - Yellow Belt or above or equivalent.
  • Strong experience with project management tools, documentation, and business requirements.
