About the position

The Cyber Security Co-Op position at Boston Properties is designed for students currently pursuing coursework in Computer Sciences or a related field. The role involves assisting the information security team with daily tasks and contributing to the development of best practices for IT security across the company. Interns will engage in dedicated project work that enhances the Information Security Department, while also maintaining documentation and conducting research on new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the information security team in daily tasks.
• Engage in dedicated project work, contributing approximately 30% of time to impactful projects.
• Create and maintain documentation related to IT security practices.
• Conduct research on new technologies and products to enhance security measures.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in coursework in Computer Sciences or a related field.
• Possess a service orientation and attitude in working with others.
• Detail-oriented and methodical in solving problems and managing multiple projects.
• Aptitude for learning technical concepts and supporting new products and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and accounting practices.
• Working knowledge of Windows 7 and Office 2010, and at least one software package in word processing and spreadsheets.
