About the position
The Cyber Security Consultant 3 role is a contract position focused on providing expertise in cybersecurity, particularly in threat intelligence and incident response. The consultant will represent the client in confidential meetings, create executive-level documentation, and serve as a liaison between various teams to enhance the security posture of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Represent client in confidential meetings with industry peers and public partnerships.
- Create TEAR sheets for executive leadership.
- Act as a liaison between the External Intelligence team and Internal peer teams.
- Lead or participate in the research, analysis, design, testing, and implementation of complex computer network security and protection technologies.
- Review and analyze advanced computer security incident response activities and technical investigations of information security-related incidents or breaches.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Requirements
- Active US Top Secret clearance with the Department of the Treasury.
- In-depth knowledge of the Cyber Threat Intelligence Life Cycle.
- Understanding of current trends in the Cybersecurity landscape.
- Ability to discuss various TTPs utilized by adversarial threats.
