About the position

The Cyber Security Consultant/Analyst role is focused on providing expert analysis and consultation in the field of cybersecurity. This position involves assessing security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing strategies to enhance the security posture of the organization. The consultant will work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices, while also providing guidance on risk management and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Provide recommendations for improving security measures and practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security compliance and best practices are followed.
• Monitor security systems and respond to incidents as they arise.
• Prepare reports and documentation on security assessments and incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity analysis and consulting.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred.
• Experience with cloud security and compliance.
