The Cyber Security Consultant at Laiba Technologies is responsible for providing expert guidance and support in cybersecurity practices, focusing on Security Operations Center (SOC) functions, Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) platforms, and advanced threat detection using tools like Splunk and CrowdStrike. This role requires a strong background in network security and the ability to develop automated workflows and playbooks to enhance security operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in SOC operations and incident response.
• Develop and implement automated workflows and playbooks using SOAR platforms.
• Utilize EDR tools such as CrowdStrike for threat detection and response.
• Monitor and analyze security events using Splunk and SIEM technologies.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance network security measures.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with Splunk.
• 6+ years of experience with firewalls.
• 10+ years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) functions.
• Strong expertise in EDR tools such as CrowdStrike or similar.
• Experience with developing automated workflows and playbooks.
