About the position

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and enhancing our organization's cybersecurity posture. You will work closely with IT teams to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information systems. Your expertise will help us identify vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and implement robust security measures across our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of the organization's IT infrastructure to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches and mitigate risks effectively.
• Perform computer forensics investigations to analyze security incidents and gather evidence.
• Collaborate with system administration teams to ensure secure configurations of servers and applications.
• Utilize AWS services to enhance cloud security measures and compliance.
• Provide guidance on information security best practices and policies to various stakeholders.
• Develop scripts for automating security processes and improving operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with PCI standards and other relevant regulations.
• Certify that all systems meet organizational security requirements through regular audits and assessments.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, and applications.
• Proficiency in computer forensics techniques and tools for investigating security incidents.
• Experience in incident response planning and execution.
• Familiarity with system administration tasks across various operating systems.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services and their security implications.
• Solid understanding of information security principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Scripting skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation purposes.
• Knowledge of PCI compliance requirements is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
