The Network Security Engineer position at SITEC involves designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise-wide network security solutions to support national security. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-wide network security solutions.
• Install, troubleshoot, modify, and test various network types of equipment and related devices with a focus on security protection.
• Independently build test network or system prototypes, including equipment set-up and testing.
• Develop attack programs to verify security assurance and identify weaknesses.
• Gather and organize technical information about the organization's missions, goals, and requirements.
• Integrate electronic processes or methodologies to resolve system or technology problems related to Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
• Conduct security assessments and provide security consulting services.
• Analyze information security requirements and perform certification for C&A processes for system accreditations.
• Perform vulnerability analysis and assessment using government or commercial off-the-shelf technologies.

Requirements

• Active TS//SCI clearance at the time of application is required.
• High School Diploma and twelve (12) years' experience; or Associates Degree and ten (10) years' experience; or Bachelor's Degree and eight (8) years' experience; or Master's Degree and six (6) years' experience.
• IAT Level II Certifications including one of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CND, SSCP.
• CSSP Analyst Certification from one of the following: CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA+ Security, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, Cloud+, SCYBER.
