About the position

Altus Consulting is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to analyze, design, and implement security solutions across various client environments. In this role, you will collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure comprehensive cyber defense and deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs and exceed security objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining the integrity of our clients' systems. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing security requirements and translating them into technical specifications. You will design, implement, and test security solutions using industry-standard methodologies and tools. Monitoring and assessing the security posture of client environments will be a key part of your responsibilities, where you will identify and prioritize vulnerabilities to ensure proactive measures are taken. In addition to your technical skills, you will respond to and remediate security incidents effectively and efficiently. Collaboration with team members on security assessments, incident response, and threat intelligence will be essential to maintaining a robust security framework. Staying up-to-date with the latest cyber security threats, trends, and technologies will enable you to adapt and enhance our security measures continuously. Documentation of security processes and procedures for future reference will also be part of your duties, contributing to the continuous improvement of cyber security operations and processes. You may also support vulnerability management, security awareness training, and compliance initiatives, ensuring that our clients remain compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze security requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design, implement, and test security solutions using industry-standard methodologies and tools.

  • Support vulnerability management, security awareness training, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with poly clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in cyber security operations and analysis.
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies.
