At SIG, Synopsys' Software Integrity Group, we are enthusiastic learners and seasoned inventors. We are makers and visionaries who make technology safer. We are innovators who develop the best solutions to keep your software safe. Whether you're selling it directly to your customers or relying on it to run your operations, SIG helps you protect your bottom line by building trust in your software-at the speed your business demands. We embrace diversity as a company, so we can create solutions that serve not just technology but the humans behind it. The Cybersecurity Architect collaborates with other architects and business stakeholders to capture security and business needs, including cost-benefit, industry trends, and technology evolution projections to meet the ever-increasing information security controls and protections expected by our customers and their clients. This role is pivotal in defining enterprise network and cloud security architectures, including on-premises and SaaS solutions while considering scalability, reliability, maintainability, interoperability, and supportability. In this position, you will build close relationships and collaborate with staff from IT, R&D, cloud operations, product management, and business development groups. You will guide the successful integration of SIG solutions into various operating environments and review designs involving security controls such as authentication, data protection, encryption, and secrets management. Additionally, you will design and architect complex non-functional features such as multitenancy, high availability, disaster recovery, and zero-downtime patching capabilities. Defining and fostering the adoption of common security patterns and best practices will also be a key responsibility, along with providing enterprise security mentorship and thought leadership for the software engineers in the product teams to educate them on security needs and solutions.
