About the position

The Cyber Security Manager at Agile Defense is responsible for overseeing IT operational security and analytical security within a complex IT environment. This role involves managing security systems, incident response, audit compliance, and ensuring adherence to federal cybersecurity regulations. The position requires a blend of technical and analytical skills to navigate the evolving landscape of IT security, while also leading a team of cybersecurity professionals to protect critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the IT security operations and analytical security requirements of a complex IT environment.
• Perform quality oral and written communication relevant to IT security operations.
• Oversee incident response and security systems management.
• Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity regulations and audit responses.

Requirements

• 10+ years of management experience in the IT Cybersecurity field.
• 5 years of federal experience as a contractor or civilian.
• ITIL 4 Foundation or Practitioner certification.
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.
• Security+ certification.
• DevSecOps Foundation certification.
• Experience as a Scrum Master.
• Knowledge of Agile Project Management methodology.
