About the position

Enflite Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security Operations Associate to join our team in Georgetown, TX. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the security of our organization's systems and data. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering security controls to prevent malware delivery and to mitigate the extent of cyber incidents. This role also involves providing desktop support, which includes troubleshooting various software packages, hardware devices, and other applications to resolve potential or actual technical issues. The Cyber Security Operations Associate will analyze detected vulnerabilities and implement necessary security measures to address these vulnerabilities. The position requires the individual to provide cybersecurity recommendations to leadership based on significant threats and vulnerabilities identified during operations. It is essential that all security operations and maintenance activities are properly documented and updated as necessary. The associate will also ensure that cybersecurity-enabled technologies effectively reduce identified risks to an acceptable level and verify that minimum security requirements are in place for all applications. In addition to security responsibilities, the associate will provide organization-wide desktop support, addressing user tickets related to hardware, software, and networking issues. This includes guiding users through the installation of computer peripherals, conducting remote troubleshooting, and customizing desktop applications to meet user needs. The associate will also be responsible for maintaining technical documentation and manuals, as well as ensuring that the printing infrastructure is operational. This position is designed to be flexible, allowing the individual to contribute wherever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors. Responsibilities

  • Administer security controls to prevent malware delivery and execution.
  • Analyze detected vulnerabilities and implement security measures to resolve identified vulnerabilities.
  • Provide cybersecurity recommendations to leadership based on significant threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure all systems security operations and maintenance activities are properly documented and updated as necessary.
  • Ensure cybersecurity-enabled technologies reduce identified risk to an acceptable level.
  • Verify minimum security requirements are in place for all applications.
  • Provide organization-wide desktop support as necessary.
  • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Walk customers through installing computer peripherals.
  • Guide users with step-by-step instructions for troubleshooting.
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting and test alternative pathways to resolve issues.
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs.
  • Record technical issues and solutions in Help Desk.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional.
  • Report customer feedback and potential product requests.
  • Help create technical documentation and manuals.
  • Maintain printing infrastructure.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • AA/AS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent minimum of 1 year of experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a high degree of initiative required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
