About the position

The Cyber Security Operations Specialist III at Criterion Systems, Inc. is responsible for managing and operating all aspects of information systems security, ensuring data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. This role involves implementing security measures for communication systems and networks, advising on adherence to security standards, and developing security policies and procedures. The specialist will also supervise various security operations and support the certification of information systems and networks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage all aspects of Information Systems security.
• Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems and networks.
• Advise on adherence to established security standards and governmental requirements.
• Develop and execute security policies, plans, and procedures.
• Design and implement data network security measures.
• Operate Network Intrusion Detection and Forensics systems.
• Conduct performance analysis of Information Systems security incidents.
• Develop Continuity of Operation (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
• Support certification of Information Systems and Networks.
• Supervise operation of Electronic Key Management System and other information security duties.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in a relevant field with 2 years of experience.
• Master's degree in a relevant field with 4 years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 6 years of experience.
• Associate's degree with 8 years of experience.
• High-school diploma with 10 years of experience.
• Top Secret / SCI security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Host Based Security System (HBSS).
• Familiarity with firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, and Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Knowledge of Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
