About the position

The Cyber Security Policy Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures to protect the Armament Center DREN Network at Picatinny Arsenal from unauthorized access and cyber threats. This role requires staying updated with emerging cyber threats and evolving security landscapes, conducting regular security audits, and ensuring compliance with DoD standards.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Stay updated with emerging cyber threats and evolving security landscapes.
  • Regularly update security protocols in line with DoD standards.
  • Conduct periodic security audits and compliance checks.
  • Regularly review and update security protocols.
  • Provide regular updates to the workforce on security awareness and protocol changes.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments of the network.
  • Establish a clear incident response protocol for security incidents.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or other related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in DoD Risk Management Framework.
  • DoD 8570.01 Cybersecurity/Information Technology Certification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire date required.
  • Possess a Secret Clearance.
