About the position

The Cyber Security Program Manager/Project Manager will oversee and coordinate cybersecurity projects aimed at protecting the bank's data, customer information, and digital assets. This role ensures that the organization meets its security and compliance objectives in a highly regulated environment, leading the development and execution of cybersecurity programs and managing stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and coordinating cybersecurity projects to protect the bank's data and digital assets.
• Leading the development and execution of cybersecurity programs and projects.
• Collaborating with risk and compliance teams to ensure alignment with internal policies and industry regulations.
• Acting as a liaison between cybersecurity teams and other departments to prioritize cybersecurity goals.
• Selecting and managing cybersecurity vendors and third-party partners.
• Working with leadership to continuously improve the cybersecurity posture.
• Supporting the development of robust incident response plans.

Requirements

• Vast cyber domain background with knowledge of cyber functions and business services.
• Experience in cyber auditing is preferred.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices, protocols, and financial regulations.
• Strong leadership skills for guiding cross-functional teams.
• Ability to assess, prioritize, and mitigate cyber risks within a financial institution context.
• Analytical skills to analyze program data and measure outcomes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a large financial institution is preferred but not required.
