About the position

The Swift Group is seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager with extensive technical security experience. The role involves managing security projects, developing system security plans, and working through risk management frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in encryption, networking, and various security technologies, along with the ability to provide technical guidance to both technical and non-technical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage cyber security projects and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Develop and modify system security plans.
• Conduct security reviews and assessments.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to team members and senior personnel.
• Identify and manage information security risks in an enterprise environment.
• Make reasoned, timely, and fact-based decisions regarding security measures.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant work experience in cyber security.
• Demonstrated experience with encryption technologies.
• Experience with operating systems and database technologies.
• Knowledge of networking principles including OSI model, TCP/IP, MPLS, SONET, and Ethernet.
• Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, and data protection.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and information storage solutions.
• Experience with virtual machine technology and cyber risks.
• Ability to conduct security reviews and assessments.
• Practical understanding of application, system, and network security best practices.
• Experience with information security policies.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, cyber security, or related field.
• Experience with Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) process and Project Management Framework.
• Understanding of diverse information technology infrastructure and network architecture.
• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
