About the position

The Cyber Security Red Team Analyst role at CACI involves working within the Cyber Security Team to create and maintain a secure operating environment. The position focuses on protecting network boundaries, designing secure devices, and providing security services to safeguard sensitive data. The analyst will engage in various security assessments, incident response, and collaboration with stakeholders to enhance the organization's security posture.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe operating environment for users by protecting network boundaries.
• Design hardened computer and network devices to secure sensitive data.
• Monitor systems for attacks and intrusions using data aggregation and analysis techniques.
• Draft technical manuals, installation manuals, and incident response plans to enhance system security documentation.
• Execute security posture assessments and complete detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all business levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity/Computer Engineering or 5 years of Cyber Security experience.
• Intermediate knowledge in Red Team/Offensive Security, Cyber Incident Response, and operating system hardening.
• Strong Linux experience focused on network and device protection.
• Working knowledge of Splunk for log analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• CISSP, OCSP, or GPEN certification preferred.
• Secret or Top-Secret clearance preferred.
• Programming or scripting experience is a plus.
• AWS / Microsoft Entra/O365 cloud experience.
