About the position

The Cyber Security Red Team Analyst at CACI is responsible for creating and maintaining a secure operating environment by protecting network boundaries and providing security services for sensitive data. This role involves working with various technologies to monitor systems for attacks and intrusions, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance security measures.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within a team-centric environment.
• Draft technical manuals, installation manuals, procedure outlines, and incident response plans to enhance system security documentation.
• Execute white, gray, or black box security posture assessments and produce detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders at all business levels.
• Demonstrate strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering, or 5 years of Cyber Security experience.
• Intermediate knowledge in Red Team/Offensive Security, Cyber Incident Response, Operating system internals and hardening, OSINT data analysis, Secure development processes, Vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and remediation activities, Risk management and mitigation strategies, Development of security tools, automation or frameworks, and strong Linux experience.
• Working knowledge of Splunk for log analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• CISSP, OCSP, or GPEN certification preferred.
• Secret or Top-Secret clearance preferred.
• Programming or scripting experience is a plus.
• AWS / Microsoft Entra/O365 cloud experience.
