About the position

The Cyber Security Red Team Analyst position at CACI involves working within the Cyber Security Team to create and maintain a secure operating environment. The role focuses on protecting network boundaries, designing secure devices, and providing security services to safeguard sensitive data. The analyst will engage in various security practices, including offensive security, incident response, and vulnerability assessments, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the organization's security posture.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively in a team-centric environment.
• Draft technical manuals, installation manuals, procedure outlines, and incident response plans to enhance system security documentation.
• Execute white, gray, or black box security posture assessments and produce detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders at all business levels.
• Demonstrate strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering, or 5 years of Cyber Security experience.
• Intermediate knowledge in Red Team/Offensive Security, Cyber Incident Response, and operating system hardening (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Experience with OSINT data analysis, secure development processes, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and remediation activities.
• Strong Linux experience focused on protecting networks, devices, programs, and data from attacks.
• Working knowledge of Splunk for log analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• CISSP, OCSP, or GPEN certification preferred.
• Secret or Top-Secret clearance preferred.
• Programming or scripting experience is a plus.
• AWS / Microsoft Entra/O365 cloud experience.
