About the position

The Cyber Security Regulatory Engagement Lead at Bank of America is responsible for developing and supporting responses to audit, regulatory, and compliance requests. This role requires a deep understanding of laws, rules, regulations, and information security concepts to create clear documentation and communications. The position involves collaboration with Global Information Security teams to ensure the accuracy of proposed communications and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Apply prior Cyber Security and/or Technology Infrastructure knowledge to support regulatory, audit, and compliance requests.
  • Draft written responses to audit and regulatory inquiries.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and senior leaders to analyze and convey complex data elements and information security topics.
  • Develop and report on adherence activities against assigned tasks.
  • Prioritize work and execute processes on time.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in Cyber Security or related fields.
  • Experience supporting Information Security policy in a regulated environment, preferably in financial services.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of key information security concepts (e.g., NIST, COBIT, ISO).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret applicable laws, rules, and regulations and align them to policies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience communicating with senior leaders and technical SMEs.
