About the position

The Cyber Solution Architect at Leidos is responsible for developing innovative technology solutions to address complex challenges in cyber operations. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create differentiated solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and drive contract growth. The architect will engage in business development activities, support proposal efforts, and mentor technical talent within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Identify technology and solution roadmaps to improve full cyber capabilities.
  • Enhance best practices and technological approaches to develop innovative solutions for operational cyber missions.
  • Partner with the Business Development team to support new business strategies and technical solutions.
  • Support customer calls and the corporate business development process for larger opportunities.
  • Strengthen existing programs through technology application and innovation.
  • Assess and mentor technical talent and solution architects within the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience as a technical leader on government contracts, including offensive and defensive cyber operations.
  • Awareness of leading technology capability providers that enhance technical solutions.
  • Experience as a solution architect or technical volume lead on captures and proposals.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders, both orally and in writing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM discipline with 17+ years of relevant experience.

  • Record of generating business growth through innovation and technology.
  • Vulnerability research or software reverse engineering skills.
  • Operating System and Kernel level development experience.
  • Prior experience as lead SA on a $100M+ proposal.
  • Experience working with suppliers on proposals.
  • Record of attracting and retaining technical professionals.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM discipline.
