About the position

Lockheed Martin, Cyber & Intelligence is seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineer to tackle the evolving challenges of cyberwarfare. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the cyber security requirements, architecture, development, design, testing, and integration of systems. You will work alongside cybersecurity experts to protect the networks that are vital to our citizens and the world. As a Cyber Systems Security Engineer, you will employ best practices to make informed, risk-based decisions regarding controls that ensure the integrity, visibility, compliance, and resiliency of systems. Your work will involve the analysis, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, securing, modernization, operations and maintenance (O&M), and decommissioning activities of RF and optical capabilities. This role is essential in maintaining the security posture of the systems and ensuring they meet the necessary compliance and operational standards. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cyber security requirements, architecture, development, design, test, and integration of systems.
  • Utilizes best practices to drive informed risk-based decisions regarding controls that maintain integrity, visibility, compliance, and resiliency.
  • Engage in the analysis, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, securing, modernization, operations and maintenance (O&M), and decommissioning activities of RF and optical capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a Qualified Engineering Field with 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
  • Considered an emerging authority in the field.
  • Experience interfacing/coordinating with Technical Directors and/or Project Leads from Customer organizations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SEVO, JIRA/Confluence, RF Signaling concepts/Spectrum Analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience, and willingness to continue, traveling to 2PP and 3PP sites.
  • Knowledge of / familiarity with FORNSAT RF collection systems.
