About the position

SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to support the Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program. This role involves providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes. The ideal candidate will integrate Cribl into the infrastructure while leveraging Azure cloud services and ServiceNow to enhance cybersecurity efforts. This position is contingent upon customer approval and will follow a rotating hybrid schedule in Beltsville, MD or Rosslyn, VA.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Azure resources including storage, networking, compute, and Identity Access Management (IAM).
• Architect, deploy, and optimize Azure cloud solutions, implementing security best practices and compliance protocols.
• Modify and work with Terraform modules for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments.
• Lead migration projects of on-premises applications and servers to Azure, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Utilize GIT for version control and implement automation using Ansible and Azure DevOps.
• Demonstrate proven experience in cybersecurity operations, specifically with Cribl, Azure, and ServiceNow.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree; 3 years with a Master's; 0 years with a PhD.
• Current Department of State experience required.
• One of the following certifications: CISSP - ISSAP or CISSP - ISSEP.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
