About the position

The Cyber Systems Engineer position at SkyePoint Decisions involves supporting the Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program by providing advanced cyber and technology security expertise. The role focuses on integrating Cribl into the infrastructure while utilizing Azure cloud services and ServiceNow to enhance cybersecurity efforts. The position requires a blend of technical skills in cloud administration, systems engineering, and cybersecurity operations, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation in protecting sensitive data and systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Azure resources including storage, networking, compute, and Identity Access Management (IAM).
• Architect, deploy, and optimize Azure cloud solutions while implementing security best practices and compliance protocols.
• Modify and work with Terraform modules for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments.
• Lead migration projects of on-premises applications and servers to Azure, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Utilize GIT for version control and implement automation using Ansible and Azure DevOps.
• Demonstrate proven experience in cybersecurity operations, specifically with Cribl, Azure, and ServiceNow.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree; 3 years with a Master's; 0 years with a PhD.
• Current Department of State experience required.
• One of the following certifications: CISSP - ISSAP or CISSP - ISSEP.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
