About the position

The Cyber Threat Intelligence Summer Intern position is a 12-week internship designed for undergraduate students majoring in Cyber Security, Intelligence, or a related field. The role involves analyzing threat data to produce actionable intelligence, advising stakeholders on the threat landscape, and researching vulnerabilities and threat actor tactics. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of cyber security and intelligence analysis.

Responsibilities

• Leverage the Intelligence Lifecycle to analyze threat data from multiple sources to produce actionable threat intelligence.
• Maintain awareness of the threat landscape to advise stakeholders on recommended actions.
• Analyze external technical and non-technical data to build threat actor profiles and track their activities.
• Research new and emerging vulnerabilities and threat actor tactics to create an attack surface based on the AstraZeneca threat environment.

Requirements

• Undergraduate students majoring in Cyber Security, Intelligence, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of analytic tradecraft such as managing bias and confidence statements.
• Experience integrating information from multiple sources into a single report.
• Ability to translate technical cyber events into a narrative for non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated understanding of emerging threat actor TTP, MITRE ATT&CK, and Vulnerability Management principles.
• A background in Geopolitics or International Relations is a plus.
• US Work Authorization is required at the time of application.
• Minimum grade point average of 3.0.
