The Cyber Workflow UI/UX Developer/DevOps Engineer 3 position at Lockheed Martin focuses on enhancing cybersecurity through advanced technology and innovative engineering. The role involves modernizing legacy systems and supporting critical applications within the Analytic mission, utilizing a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The position requires collaboration with cybersecurity experts to protect vital networks and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Code and script to automate tasks and build tools using languages like Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Manage Linux environments, including RHEL, CentOS, and Amazon Linux.
  • Install, configure, and manage applications such as Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Telegraf, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Grafana.
  • Utilize version control systems, primarily Git, to track changes to code and configuration files.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices using tools like GitLab runners and ArgoCD.
  • Integrate security practices into the DevOps process through DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Work with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS and Openstack.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • Active Security+ Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree with 14 years of experience or Master's degree with 12 years of experience, or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on CI/CD practices.
  • Proficiency with GitLab CI.
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud platform.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with Terraform.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
