About the position

Lockheed Martin, Cyber & Intelligence is seeking a Cyber Workflow UI/UX Developer to join our team in Maryland. This position is critical in supporting a key application within the Analytic mission and involves modernizing legacy systems using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. As a UI/UX Developer, you will implement UX/UI requirements across all TMOD domains, employing a User Centered Design approach to enhance the overall user experience. You will collaborate with cybersecurity experts to protect vital networks and systems that underpin our society, including financial assets, healthcare information, and critical infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills and experience will be utilized to combat cyber threats effectively. In this position, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to innovation and excellence in cybersecurity. The role requires a strong foundation in React, Typescript, and design systems, along with a commitment to creating accessible and user-friendly interfaces. Responsibilities

  • Implement UX/UI requirements across all TMOD domains using a User Centered Design approach.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to enhance user experience and protect critical systems.
  • Modernize legacy systems using microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies.
  • Participate in the External Referral Program to help identify potential candidates for the team.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in React and general Typescript/JavaScript experience.
  • Experience with design systems and UX design principles.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Next.js and Tailwind.
  • Knowledge of 508 Accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with JAVA and AWS managed services.
  • Experience with Gitlab and Maven.
  • Understanding of modern databases (NoSQL, Relational, Object).
