About the position

The Cybersecurity Analyst, Associate (Part Time Internship) at Baptist Health is a remote position focused on supporting the Information Security team. This role involves working under moderate supervision to assist in various information security functions, including the design and management of security solutions, incident response, and cyber risk mitigation. The analyst will collaborate with IT teams to establish security standards and manage security operations, including incident response processes and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation, and management of key security solutions.
• Support incident response and proactive threat hunting activities.
• Engage in cyber risk mitigation and risk management efforts.
• Evaluate new projects and entities from a technical security perspective.
• Collaborate with IT teams to provide security oversight and guidance.
• Create and execute cyber incident and emergency response processes.
• Manage vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.

Requirements

• High School/GED required; bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Two years of experience utilizing security tools such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Splunk, Nexpose, CyberArk, Ordr, Fidelis, Cisco Umbrella, Duo, and Cloudflare.
• Experience in firewall management, IT, IoT, and IoMT vulnerability and asset management.
• Knowledge of enterprise server, endpoint, identity management, and mail system administration.

Nice-to-haves
