About the position

ICF is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support critical infrastructure protection and resilience through collaboration with federal agency partners. This hybrid role involves engaging with federal stakeholders, managing incident response operations, and implementing strategic programs to mitigate cybersecurity risks across federal civilian agencies. The analyst will also contribute to program management, process improvement, and data analytics activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assess information and data shared by partners to identify emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Determine validity and impact of threat information, provide analysis, and identify trends for necessary partner notifications.
  • Track and contextualize cyber incidents and assist with their resolution.
  • Monitor communications for partner inquiries and coordinate cybersecurity products among targeted partners.
  • Assist in developing incident response plans, procedures, and strategic goals.
  • Maintain awareness of technical details related to operations and keep clients informed of relevant cyber news.
  • Contribute to daily and monthly reporting on key activities.
  • Support information sharing initiatives to improve collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal partners to ensure alignment on actions and expectations.
  • Assist with research and dissemination of operational notifications to partners.

Requirements

  • Active high level security clearance required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience supporting DHS programs or initiatives or other federal agencies focused on national security.
  • Experience briefing senior level leadership and clients on complex topics.
  • Technical certifications or skills (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with national incident response and coordination policies.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches and concepts.
