About the position

The Cybersecurity Analyst position at IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) involves supporting the Department of Defense (DOD) Special Operations Command (SOCOM) by managing and maintaining security infrastructure, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements. Responsibilities

• Tests, implements, deploys, maintains, reviews, and administers security infrastructure and documentation.
• Performs assessments and validates controls.
• Conducts validation and verification assessments and analyzes test results for compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
• Conducts internal audits and testing to validate compliance with system and operational requirements.
• Identifies and assesses vulnerabilities and risks and provides mitigation actions.
• Identifies information assurance control impacts and identifies risk reduction measures.

Requirements

• Junior level: 0-3 years relevant experience and a BA/BS degree.
• Journeyman level: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 - 10 years of relevant experience.
• Senior level: 10 years of experience and a MA/MS degree.
• Substitutions for education: Associate's Degree plus 4 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree; Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree; 6 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree; 12 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
