About the position

The MBSE Cybersecurity Analyst at SimVentions will provide expertise in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to support Naval system engineering program development. This role involves maintaining system and software design using MBSE tools, creating transition plans, and ensuring system design alignment with cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide MBSE support and be fluent in SysML.
• Maintain system and software design in an MBSE tool.
• Provide SysML review support.
• Create/maintain common model profile templates.
• Assist with the transition to MBSE by creating and implementing a transition plan.
• Provide subject matter expertise and systems engineering to maintain system design alignment.

Requirements

• United States Citizenship
• Minimum of 5 years of experience applying model-based systems and digital engineering procedures, processes, and methodologies/technologies.
• Certified as IAT Level II.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations.
• Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw and/or other SysML modeling tools.
• Experience with aspects of systems engineering such as modeling and simulation, functional analysis, and requirements derivation and traceability.
• Professional and effective interpersonal skills and the ability to provide face-to-face customer support.
