SimVentions is seeking an experienced MBSE Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This position is crucial for providing expertise in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to support the development of Naval system engineering programs. The ideal candidate will be fluent in SysML and will play a key role in maintaining system and software design within an MBSE tool. The responsibilities include providing SysML review support, creating and maintaining common model profile templates, and assisting with the transition to MBSE by developing and implementing a comprehensive transition plan. The analyst will also provide subject matter expertise and systems engineering support to ensure alignment in system design throughout the project lifecycle. As a member of our team, you will be expected to leverage your knowledge and experience in model-based systems and digital engineering procedures, processes, and methodologies. You will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of systems engineering, including modeling and simulation, functional analysis, and requirements derivation and traceability, are effectively addressed. Your ability to communicate clearly and succinctly, both in writing and during presentations, will be essential in this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing face-to-face customer support, demonstrating your professional and effective interpersonal skills. This position requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will have experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw and/or other SysML modeling tools, and a strong understanding of Navy Cybersecurity requirements and processes is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred but not mandatory.
