The Cybersecurity Analyst I position at Touchette Regional Hospital involves 3rd shift (overnight) monitoring of the health of the hospital's security threat posture and cybersecurity and network infrastructure. The role requires developing a deep understanding of the threat landscape and ensuring that cybersecurity technology is monitored to detect potential threats. The analyst will work closely with the IS Security Officer to ensure that cybersecurity plans, controls, processes, standards, policies, and procedures are aligned with the IT and cybersecurity standards of Touchette Regional Hospital and SIHF Healthcare. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for developing, documenting, maintaining, and communicating the governance models and compliance codes and standards for Touchette Regional Hospital and SIHF Healthcare. They will also be tasked with developing and maintaining necessary documentation for all network applications and systems, assisting with network infrastructure, security, and maintenance across a multi-hospital and multi-healthcare clinic environment. The position includes responsibilities such as monitoring endpoint anti-virus and malware solutions, content-filtering, data loss prevention solutions, multi-factor authentication systems, and firewall rules. The analyst will conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to support network and security procurement and development efforts. They will install and maintain network and security operating systems, ensure routine backups, and maintain system documentation. Additionally, the analyst will develop vulnerability remediation documentation and assist in the remediation of vulnerabilities on both server and network systems, both in the cloud and physical environments. The role requires the analyst to develop skills necessary to manage network security solutions, including Cisco ASA Firewalls, Meraki Security Appliances, and VPN technologies. They will also be responsible for developing expertise in scanning and monitoring networks for attacks and threats, understanding the organization's current threat posture, and using various tools to gauge potential impacts to business processes. The analyst will work with the IS Security Officer to develop policies and training to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, provide cybersecurity and network support for operational systems, and execute risk management initiatives. The position may require on-call support and the ability to support network or security changes during normal business hours, after-hours, weekends, or holidays.
