About the position

The Cybersecurity Analyst Level 2 plays a crucial role in supporting the IT risk management practice by proactively identifying, assessing, and communicating potential risks within the organization. This position is responsible for performing risk assessments, preparing actionable risk reports, and fostering strong relationships with leaders across the enterprise to evaluate and enhance the overall risk posture. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the risk program while working autonomously and collaboratively with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assessments of potential risk exposures and prepare actionable risk reporting.
  • Manage cyber risk assessments and evaluate internal operational controls for alignment with cyber risk treatment needs.
  • Analyze, frame, and update threat and risk scenarios for use in cyber risk management.
  • Communicate cyber risk to management and designated stakeholders.
  • Assess and update cyber risk appetites for lines of business (LOB).
  • Evaluate cyber risk treatment options and facilitate communication to stakeholders.
  • Train employees on cyber risk awareness and promote a risk-first culture.
  • Adjust cyber risk scores based on available controls and treatment options.
  • Create cyber risk dashboards/reports based on complex risk, process, and control relationships.
  • Facilitate risk management oversight in supporting internal/external audits and regulatory exams.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Job field related certification(s) such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC (preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience as a compliance analyst in a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry compliance requirements and standards.
  • Proficiency in compliance management software such as Archer, ServiceNow, or MetricStream.
  • Ability to accurately complete applications for compliance certification.
  • Ability to effectively train employees.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and requirements analysis.
  • Ability to develop standards to maintain legal compliance.
