About the position

The Cybersecurity Analyst- Project Manager at Koniag Government Services is responsible for supporting cybersecurity tasks and project management for government clients in Fairfax, VA. This role requires a Secret clearance and involves ensuring compliance with security standards, managing cybersecurity documentation, and facilitating security processes according to NIST guidelines. The position demands strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity tasks and duties in a computing environment.
• Utilize NIST RMF processes for security compliance accreditation and certification.
• Write, format, develop, and publish cybersecurity technical and policy documents.
• Facilitate NIST RMF processes from Step 1 to Step 5 and obtain favorable ATO from DoD Authorize Official.
• Perform internal auditing of security controls on documentation and systems.
• Create Network Architectural drawings using Visio or similar tools.
• Validate hardware and software components within an accreditation boundary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity tasks.
• Experience with NIST RMF processes and DoD certification and accreditation.
• Proficiency in DISA STIGS and NIST Cybersecurity Special Publications.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and cybersecurity documentation.
• 5 years of IT Project Management experience and PMP Certification.
• Secret Clearance required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Networking operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio).
• Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and SharePoint.
