About the position

As a Cybersecurity Analyst at Armavel, LLC, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on ensuring the security of cloud and emerging technologies for a large federal agency. This remote position involves assessing security practices, guiding vendors through compliance processes, and improving team workflows while collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing cloud network topologies to identify potential issues
• Assessing SaaS products to identify security gaps between FedRAMP security baselines and the SaaS Vendor's security practices to achieve an Authority to Operate (ATO)
• Engaging and guiding Vendors through the FedRAMP process
• Creating processes for improving team workflows
• Writing technical documentation for projects
• Collaborating daily and weekly with our team to ensure transparent communication, project priorities and effective team efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline and 5 years experience, or 13 years total relevant experience
• Exposure to a risk management framework such as NIST 80-53, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, HITRUST, or FedRAMP
• Must be a US Citizen, with the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance

Nice-to-haves

• Industry certification such as CISSP, CISA, CCSK, or Security+
• Federal Information Systems experience & knowledge of the security control assessment process
• Information Security experience within a Government, Healthcare, or Privacy Sensitive environment
• HIPAA experience
