About the position

The Cybersecurity Analyst supports the Identity Risk Operations team as part of the Enterprise Information Security (EIS) organization, focusing on identity resolution and identity collision risk analytics. This role requires a strong analytical focus, emphasizing the tracing of identity and digital data with a sense of urgency in response to events. As a member of a highly collaborative team, the Cybersecurity Analyst will mentor and share learnings with other team members on best practices, skills, and techniques. The position involves incident response analysis, troubleshooting identity data conflicts, activity and digital behavior analysis, identifying patterns, and the design and development of analytical tools. In addition to these responsibilities, the Cybersecurity Analyst will evaluate new tools, techniques, and strategies, automate common tasks, and build utilities to drive organizational efficiency. The role also includes influencing thought leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in innovative ways. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S., allowing the analyst to tackle challenging problems while contributing to the overall mission of improving health outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Mentoring and guiding team members on data and analysis topics
  • Provide leadership and analytical guidance in project planning, task definition, estimating, reporting, scheduling, documentation, and workflow
  • Implement and maintain security best practices in analytical processes, proactively identify and resolve identity risks
  • Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams for efficient incident response and reporting of results
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and tools to facilitate analytical and data research
  • Review identity, system, and telemetry data to resolve security and privacy incident questions
  • Participate in knowledge sharing with other team members and industry collaboration organizations to advance the security monitoring program
  • Contribute to and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
  • Oversee incident response and identity collision process execution
  • Data structure, design, and analysis

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional IT experience in data analysis/analytics, incident response, or IAM
  • 3+ years of experience working with data analysis tools (e.g., Splunk)
  • 2+ years of experience working with SQL and/or query languages
  • 2+ years of experience with Python and PySpark

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with identity systems, data, and processes
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL databases
  • Experience with data streaming and processing (Kafka, Python)
  • Information Security experience, especially if focused on IAM security
  • Experience with ML/AI and data analytics, or ML/AI toolset and techniques
  • Incident response leadership
