About the position

This position is for a Cybersecurity Analyst (Security System Administrator (ACAS/HBSS)) at Nemean Solutions, LLC, located at the SESD, National Simulation Center, Fort Gregg Adams, VA. The role supports the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under the MTCCS II IDIQ contract. The Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for maintaining Risk Management Framework (RMF) servers for the site, which includes building, maintaining, and configuring all RMF servers. The analyst will assist team members with updating standalone systems, call manager, and ASTi, and will provide support to units and other components during exercises. A critical part of the role involves reviewing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Best Business Practices (BBPs) to ensure compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Army, and Department of Defense (DOD) standards. Additionally, the analyst will troubleshoot MCIS and other related system software issues, manage MCIS and related systems with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and updates, and provide IT technical support for the site, its functional training teams, and training units. The position requires a strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity requirements and the ability to generate documentation related to RMF accreditation processes. The Cybersecurity Analyst will also need to demonstrate experience in evaluating, implementing, and disseminating IT security assessment tools and procedures, as well as experience in leading cybersecurity projects. The role is crucial for ensuring that all systems are secure and compliant with military standards, and it involves a significant amount of collaboration with other team members and units.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains RMF servers for the site.
  • Builds, maintains, and configures all RMF Servers.
  • Assists team members with updating standalone systems, call manager, and ASTi.
  • Assists units and any other components during exercises.
  • Reviews STIGs and Best Business Practices (BBPs) to ensure compliance with DISA, Army, and DOD standards.

  • Manages MCIS and other related systems with IAVAs and updates.
  • Provides IT Technical Support for the site, its functional training teams, and training units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of experience within the past 10 years in planning simulation exercise architectures, supervising the implementation of communication systems, and integrating Army MCIS in support of distributed exercises.
  • 5 years of experience in IT management with knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements and RMF accreditation processes.
  • 2 years of demonstrated experience in evaluating, implementing, and disseminating IT security assessment tools and procedures.
  • 2 years of experience as the lead for Cybersecurity / RMF / IA supporting projects or programs of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Experience in assisting and training others in RMF policy, procedure, and documentation practices.
  • DoD IAM I Certification.
  • United States Citizenship.
  • Active US SECRET Security Clearance.
