About the position

The Cybersecurity Analyst Senior position is responsible for enhancing network security and segmentation architecture, developing and implementing data security measures to protect IT and OT systems from cyber threats. This role involves continuous monitoring, risk assessment, and proactive adjustments to security protocols to ensure the safety and integrity of critical systems at the airport.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced technical expertise to enhance network security and segmentation architecture.
• Develop and implement data security measures to protect IT and OT systems from cyber threats.
• Conduct continuous monitoring and risk assessments of security protocols.
• Participate in the development and implementation of procedures to support information security and privacy strategies and policies.
• Assist in conducting information security or privacy awareness activities, such as presentations and training development.
• Perform information security and privacy control assessments for systems.
• Evaluate cybersecurity and privacy tools and analyze the potential impact of new technologies.
• Coordinate, perform, and track vulnerability and penetration testing.
• Analyze log files to investigate potential compromises of City networks and participate in incident response activities.
• Lead incident response activities for information security and privacy incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university plus three years of related experience, or a Master's degree may substitute for up to two years of experience.
• Experience may substitute for education up to four years.
• Industry certifications may be considered as substitution for education.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in designing and implementing complex and secure networks.
• Expertise in configuring and managing NextGen Firewalls, including Palo Alto, SonicWALL, and Cisco ASA.
• Skilled in setting up Site-to-Site and client VPNs with MFA.
• Proficient in configuring and managing Identity Services Engine (ISE) systems.
