About the position

McDonald's Corporation is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join its Cybersecurity Data Protection team. This team is dedicated to securing and protecting McDonald's information across all devices and at all times. The ideal candidate will be driven and ambitious, with a strong commitment to building a culture of security within the organization. The role involves balancing security with productivity while ensuring the quality and effectiveness of data protection controls are never compromised. The Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for managing the Encryption Key Management and Certificate Management platforms, which are critical components of the company's data protection strategy. In this position, the Cybersecurity Analyst will provide operational support for the Certificate Management and Encryption Key Management platforms. This includes collaborating with application teams to understand their needs and ensuring they are effectively utilizing these platforms. The Analyst will coordinate with vendors to manage these platforms and implement technical and process improvements. Additionally, the role requires estimating the level of effort and resources needed to activate various features and functionalities within these platforms. The Analyst will serve as a point of contact for product-related questions and will assist in prioritizing the roadmap with product and technology team leads. Regular reviews and reporting on the operational effectiveness and usage metrics of these platforms will also be part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for Certificate Management and Encryption Key Management platforms.
  • Collaborate with application teams to understand and utilize the certificate management and encryption key management platforms.
  • Coordinate with vendors to manage these platforms and implement improvements.
  • Estimate the level of effort and resources needed to activate features in these platforms.
  • Serve as a point-person for product questions and problem-solving.
  • Assist in prioritizing the roadmap with product and technology team leads.
  • Review and report on the operational effectiveness and usage metrics of these platforms.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT and/or cybersecurity.
  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise-wide Certificate Management or Encryption Key Management platforms.
  • Demonstrated competency in developing effective solutions to diverse business problems.
  • Program/Portfolio management experience implementing global processes and technology platforms.
  • Excellent judgment and quick decision-making skills in complex situations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Thales or AppviewX technologies at an enterprise scale.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity control frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, SOC II, GPDR, SOX, PCI, CCPA.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
  • Familiarity with multinational companies and distributed business models.
